The engine behind the deals#
Most flight search tools do one thing: query airline APIs and sort by price. LatAI does six things at once — and layers them with AI to find prices that simple search tools can never surface.
Signal 1: Historical Price Intelligence#
Airlines reprice flights thousands of times a day. But their pricing follows patterns.
LatAI has indexed millions of historical fares across tens of thousands of routes. Our AI knows:
- Which routes have predictable price drop windows (e.g. “book 6 weeks out for transatlantic flights”)
- Which days of the week are statistically cheapest to book — and to fly
- How prices behave in the days before departure for last-minute travelers
We surface this as a Fare Prediction Score: a simple signal telling you whether the current price is likely to drop, hold, or rise.
Signal 2: VPN Regional Pricing#
Airlines and booking platforms use your IP address to set prices. A flight from New York to Madrid might cost $780 if you search from the US — and $610 if you search from Argentina.
LatAI maintains proxy endpoints in dozens of regions. Every search you run is cross-checked across markets automatically. You see the cheapest fare, regardless of where it’s priced from, without the hassle of setting up a VPN yourself.
This is a legal gray area that no mainstream tool has built into a product — until now.
Signal 3: News & Event Intelligence#
Prices crash after events end. Prices spike before them. Airlines react to news faster than most travelers can.
LatAI monitors:
- Natural disasters and travel advisories — prices drop sharply to affected regions
- Major events ending (Olympics, World Cup, festivals) — demand collapses, fares follow
- Airline promotions and seat sales triggered by slow bookings
- Competitor route changes that create temporary pricing gaps
Our NLP pipeline reads thousands of news sources daily and maps them to routes in real time.
Signal 4: Seat Availability Modeling#
When a flight has 3 seats left in a fare class, the next price tier loads. LatAI tracks seat availability trends and alerts you when a fare class is about to expire — giving you the window to act before the price jumps.
Signal 5: Smart Price Alerts#
Set a target price. LatAI watches all five signals simultaneously. When the combination of historical patterns, regional pricing, news signals, and seat availability aligns with your target, you get notified.
No noise. No daily digests of prices you can already see. Just the alert that matters.
Signal 6: Flexible Date Optimization#
LatAI’s fare calendar doesn’t just show you the cheapest day — it overlays the Fare Prediction Score on each date so you can see not just what’s cheap now, but what’s likely to get cheaper (or more expensive) before you need to commit.
The full picture#
| Signal | What it does | Uniqueness |
|---|---|---|
| Historical price data | Predicts fare trajectory | Others do this too |
| VPN regional pricing | Finds cross-market deals | Only LatAI at product scale |
| News & event feeds | Predicts demand-driven swings | Only LatAI |
| Seat availability | Catches expiring fare classes | Rare |
| Smart alerts | Multi-signal notification | Others do single-signal only |
| Flexible date AI overlay | Shows prediction + cheapest date | Only LatAI |
LatAI is not a meta-search engine. It’s a deal-finding AI that happens to have flight search built in.
